As you can see there aren't that many forum at present.

What forums do you think should be added and why?

I think it has plenty of forums. Can always add more as demand requires.

Very true Patrick. It just seems as though I'm not covering the basics enough yet. I'm sure when I get a few more members they'll let me know what forums I'm missing (if any).

I would start small and work your way up, if you have too many open forums, others may think it to be a ghost-mine and that is certainly not the impression you want to give . Let time guide you and as you think of new ones, write them down or post them and see what the feedback is at the time.

Thanks for your suggestion Neo.

I had the news feed from w3reports in the sidebar on the right but I disabled it last night as a test to see if it helped load times. I thought about doing what you suggested but didn't like the idea of having loads of news related threads showing up on the New Posts search results.

I might add it at some stage in the future and try and exclude them from the results pages.

P.S. My avatar would suit your username

instead of everything else going into the off-topic, there tend to be quite a bit of technical discussions, say programming, computers, etc. maybe a single forum for those?

due to the nature of the audience, that one extra forum will be popular and then the community in general won't look like a bunch of slackers who only chit-chat around....

Thanks for your suggestions jmpsmash.

The only bad thing about adding new forums to a new community is that it usually gives the idea that the place is dead because the thread and post count for each individual forum is very low.

I think it would be better to add only one new forum to cover all those different topics. What do you think?

For starters, I would like to see some discussion here on dedicated servers. Who has good deals and what makes them good etc.

Good news but I wonder if the "Website Reviews" section should now exclude reviews of the content and just concentrate on the look and workings of the site instead?
